It’s a kind of exam conducted by various public sector banks to recruit students for Probationary Officer post, from all over India. This is a common entrance exam in which students have to appear and obtain the minimum marks, as set by the banks. It contains 5 subjects, including Logical Reasoning, Mathematics, General Knowledge, English and Computer. Each student has to obtain minimum number of marks in each subject, to clear the exam, and appear for the next interview round. Accordingly, a candidate is selected. Although, different banks have their own requirements for candidates to appear in this exam, but there are a few things that are common to everyone, and are listed given below:

  • An Appearing candidate must be a graduate, holding a degree from a well-recognized university.
  • A Candidate must hold the Indian Citizenship.
  • He/she should be in between 21 to 30 years.
